This project is funded by a grant from the Government of British Columbia Ministry of Health. The objectives of our research project are to find out how workplace incivility impacts on the mental and physical health and wellbeing of equity-seeking frontline service employees (FSEs), and identify ways to end abuse at work and to help those who have or are experiencing workplace incivility.
To achieve these goals, we will collect data from the stories posted here and from interviews and surveys of FSEs. The identities of those participating in the project will be 100% confidential.
A major part of the research is to publish scholarly articles, industry reports, and press releases to bring awareness to the problems associated with workplace incivility.
